While we wait for Peacock’s prequel series “Crystal Lake” later this year, Funko has announced three brand new Jason Voorhees toys as part of their partnership with Jason Universe.

- Jason with Axe in Head – Entertainment Earth Exclusive
The GameStop Exclusive variant toy adds some additional battle damage to Jason’s mask while also making it look like he just crawled his way out of a wet and swampy Crystal Lake.
Jason Universe is the new multi-platform expansion of the Friday the 13th franchise from its original owners, and Funko’s toys represent the brand’s fresh new redesign for the horror icon.
Makeup effects master Greg Nicotero helped the Jason Universe team redesign Jason Voorhees for their new merch and marketing activations like Sweet Revenge, with the goal to “maintain Jason’s original essence.” Horror Inc’s Rob Barsamian had said last year that the idea was to create “a defined look and feel that takes Jason into his next chapter.”
The new Jason Voorhees mask features thirteen holes in reference to Jason’s favorite day, and it’s also expected to be featured in upcoming TV series “Crystal Lake” from A24 and Peacock.
