Bloober Team Requests ‘A Bit More Patience’ Regarding ‘Silent Hill 2’ in New Update

It’s become a bit of a broken record for some fans waiting for Bloober Team to update fans on the Silent Hill 2 remake: Where is it? Bloober hasn’t given many more details on the remake’s progress for a quite a while, with the last real messages being clarifications on comments made by Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno. Coupled with the recent release date shenanigans, fans obviously want an update.

Bloober Team took to X last night with a bit of an update regarding Silent Hill 2, saying that the team is diligently working to “ensure the Silent Hill 2 remake attains the highest quality.” The update went on to say that production is “progressing smoothly” and in line with the developer’s schedule.

The post also thanked fans for their dedication to the game. At the same time, Bloober also asked for “a bit more patience” from fans regarding any further updates. “Once Konami, as the game’s publisher, shares more information, we are confident that the wait will be worthwhile.”

One hopes that with The Game Awards right around the corner, that Konami would be eager to allay fans’ concerns with news regarding the game, or even a new trailer. Until then, it’s back to a holding pattern.

Silent Hill 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam and the PlayStation 5, with a release on the Xbox Series at a future point.
