With October finally here, it would be a no-brainer for a developer like PikPok to have a demo made available for their upcoming horror game, wouldn’t it? That’s what we’re getting with Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, which will have its demo released on October 28 ahead of the game’s Early Access release next year.
According to PikPok’s post on Steam, this demo will be the pre-alpha build for Our Darkest Days, giving players a taste of the full release. As such, the team will be looking for players’ thoughts and feedback as development on the game continues, so hit up the official Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days discord to chat with the developers.
“We’re thrilled to share our public Steam demo of Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days,” said Mario Wynands, CEO of PikPok. “The development team is hard at work creating an immersive survival game in an evolving world that challenges players at every turn, and we can’t wait to hear what players think of this first taste of the game.”
In Our Darkest Days, as the undead overrun the city of Walton, Texas in 1980, those trapped within the city limits must work together to overcome ever-present dangers and ever-dwindling resources. Explore the city to scavenge for food and tools to stay alive, then return to base to manage survivors’ needs. Carve a path through Walton, guiding survivors from shelter to shelter and inching closer to an escape from the unfolding apocalypse.
