Watch Three ‘Scream’ TV Spots in HD Including the One With the Mysterious Silver Ghostface Mask [Videos]

We’re now just about one month away from the return of the Scream franchise, with next year’s franchise relaunch/legacy sequel coming exclusively to theaters on January 14, 2022.

Various TV spots and YouTube ads are floating around out there on the internet, and YouTube’s Joey Noberini II has collected three of them together, finally presented in HD quality.

As we talked about the other day, two of these spots appear to show someone wielding a flamethrower and wearing a metallic silver Ghostface mask, a new spin on the classic white mask. There’s no real context here so it’s impossible to speculate, but it’s an interesting thing to point out nonetheless. Could this be a snippet from another of the faux Stab movies?

We’ll probably have to wait until next month to find out. Check out all three spots below, which also play up the return of legacy characters and the family ties of the new storyline.

The filmmaking team this time around includes directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, as well as executive producer Chad Villella, the three members of the filmmaking group Radio Silence (Ready or Not, V/H/S, Southbound). In the new movie…

“Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.”

Dylan Minnette (Goosebumps), Mason Gooding (Let It Snow), Kyle Gallner (Ghosts of War), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Love”) and Mikey Madison (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) join an ensemble that also includes Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, David Arquette and Courteney Cox who will return as Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers, as well as new cast members Jack Quaid (“The Boys”), Melissa Barrera (“In The Heights”) and Jenna Ortega (“You”). Marley Shelton is also returning as Scream 4 character Deputy Judy Hicks.

James Vanderbilt (Murder Mystery, Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Ready or Not, Castle Rock) wrote the script. Michel Aller edited the film, which is now complete.
