[Trailer] Game Adaptation of ‘The Bridge Curse’ Announced, Set for Release Later This Year

If you’re a fan of Lester Hsi‘s The Bridge Curse (which is currently streaming on Netflix), get ready for a video game adaptation, courtesy of Softstar Entertainment. Launching later this year on Steam, The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is a first-person atmospheric horror title, and will have a demo available as part of Steam Next Fest next month.

For those who haven’t seen The Bridge Curse, the film concerns a journalist looking to dig into the disappearance of a group of college students some years prior. Said group of university students were testing an urban legend about a female ghost that haunts a campus bridge as part of their “bravery initiation test” for fellow students. As these things go, as the journalist digs further, there’s a horrifying truth to the legend.

Focusing on stealth-based gameplay, Road to Salvation has you assuming the role of one of those aforementioned university students exploring and escaping Tunghu University campus before that vengeful female ghost ends you. In order to break your curse, you’ll have to gather items and solve puzzles in order to find the truth.
