Throwback Mystery Horror Game ‘Janitor Bleeds’ Arrives on Steam and Xbox Next Month [Trailer]

Don’t you hate it when you crash your car into an abandoned arcade, and you unwittingly unleash a dark entity from a game in the arcade? That’s the premise for Korpus’ dark mystery-horror adventure Janitor Bleeds, which is slated to arrive on Steam and Xbox on April 7.

Originally part of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc last year, as the story goes, you crash your car into the aforementioned arcade, which is home to a mysterious arcade machine called JANITOR. Of course, you play the game, and it ends up releasing a some malevolent force on you. The only way to survive is to keep playing the game, but the further you go, the more the events of the game start to influence the real world.

Janitor Bleeds will have you solving puzzles and opening paths in both the arcade game and the real world to progress. Like many throwback titles, it has a pixelated aesthetic that isn’t quite PS1, but still has that feel of old-school gaming.

And if you’re keen on checking the game out prior to its release, you can either hit up the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc version, or better yet, sign up for the private beta over at publisher Bonus Stage Publishing’s website.

Thanks to DreadXP for the heads up!
