‘The Most Dangerous Game’ Remake Trailer Begins a New Hunt This August

Universal and Blumhouse took their own stab at the concept with The Hunt and now Mill Creek Entertainment has remade The Most Dangerous Game, the classic 1932 thriller in which passengers from a luxury yacht are hunted for sport. The hunt is on in select theaters and On Demand on August 5, and Deadline has unleashed the remake’s official trailer today.

Oscar nominee Bruce Dern (Nebraska, Freaks, The ‘Burbs), Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club) and Caspar Van Dien (Starship Troopers) with Tom Berenger (Platoon) and Chris “CT” Tamburello (MTV’s “The Challenge”) star in Mill Creek’s The Most Dangerous Game remake.

In the film, “A father and son are shipwrecked on a remote island where they are caught up in a trophy hunt held by its mysterious owner, a merciless man who uses the land as an elite hunting preserve for stalking the most dangerous game of all: human.”

Justin Lee (Final Kill) directed The Most Dangerous Game.

Richard Connell wrote the 1924 original short story that became the 1932 movie.

The Koenig Pictures production was made in association with Charach Productions.
