Techland has revealed some free goodies for the upcoming Chapter 2 of seasonal content for Dying Light 2 that’s set to drop in a couple of weeks with the game’s 1.5 update. Entitled “A Huntress and a Hag”, the new content introduces Shen Xiu, a mysterious Chapter Agent and expert tracker who has a very special task for the Nightrunners of Villedor.
In the latest episode of Techland’s “At the Fish Eye” series, where Senior Brand Manager Anna Kubica and the Game Designer Karol Langier explain the philosophy behind this new in-game content. Whether you’ve played straight through the main game, or dropped in with friends in co-op, the idea behind Dying Light 2‘s postlaunch plan is to keep players coming back with new content. That includes a new Chapter Agent (in this case Shen Xiu), new missions, bounties, enemies and so on. More information will be revealed in the coming weeks regarding Chapter 2 and its content.
Dying Light 2 is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Switch version is slated to arrive later this year. And if you still haven’t given the game a spin, check out our thoughts on the game.
