‘Sker Ritual’ Gets New Demo During Steam Next Fest [Trailer]

In preparation for Steam Next Fest (which will be running in tandem with Summer Games Fest), Wales Interactive has announced that their upcoming FPS Sker Ritual will be getting a timed exclusive demo. The demo will will enable 1-4 players to team up online, and represents the end of Alpha development for the shooter.

The Sker Ritual demo is timed to 30 minutes with an unlimited amount of replays, and features Solo, Private or Quick Play online matchmaking for one map, The Cursed Lands of Lavernock. The demo will include a sample of Sker Ritual‘s Story Objectives and gain full access to The Laughing Policeman’s shop and the steampunk-inspired Magnificent Munitions Upgrade Station.

Players will also be able to customize their character with interchangeable in-game masks inspired by all forms of horror, from folk, gothic, zombie, science fiction, the supernatural and more. Wales Interactive plans to have more customization options available in the final game.

In addition, Wale Interactive will be dropping info at a later date for the ‘Miracles’ mechanic in Sker Ritual, which form part of the game’s unique perk system.

Sker Ritual will launch for PC via Steam in Q2 2022, followed by releases for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date. Steam Next Fest runs from June 13-20.
