Activision is once again dipping into that cross promotional game with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, returning once again to Godzilla and Kong ahead of the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire to theatres. Not only that, but we’re also getting content inspired by Dune: Part Two and Warhammer 40K!
Previously, we had gotten Godzilla and Kong causing mayhem in Modern Warfare II, and now with Modern Warfare III‘s Season 2 Reloaded, we’re due to get new weapons, cosmetics and more. That “more” includes Vanguard‘s 6v6 Das Haus multiplayer map, a new Juggermosh game mode, and more Zombies content.
No release date has been announced for any of these new packs, but we do have the contents for each. The Godzilla x Kong: New Empire Kong Pack will include the “Kong Armor” Operator Skin to Modern Warfare III, along with the Titan Tech Rifle LMG, a Weapon Blueprint w/ B.E.A.S.T. Tracers, the Monarch Stinger Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprint w/ B.E.A.S.T. Tracers, Kong’s Knuckle Slamwich Finishing Move, and a “Bow to No-One” Large Decal.
Meanwhile, the Dune: Part Two Harkonnen Pack will include the Harkonnen Hunter operator, an assault rifle and sniper rifle blueprint, a Harkonnen Long Sword melee weapon, and more Dune-themed cosmetics.
As for the Warhammer content, there are three bundles: Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines Pack, Warhammer 40,000 Sisters of Battle Pack, and Warhammer 40,000 Astra Militarum Pack. The Space Marines Pack includes two operator skins in the Ultramarine Scout and Blood Angels Scout, and three weapon blueprints in the Contempt shotgun, the Angel’s Fury and Courage and Honor rifles.
The Sisters of Battle pack includes the Battle Sister operator skin, the Empire’s Fury assault rifle, and the Heretic’s Bane LMG. Finally, the Astra Militarum pack includes the Cadian Kasrkin operator, the Hammer of the Emperor assault rifle, the Born Soldier marksman Rifle, and the Munitorum Issue Blade melee blueprint.
Directed by Adam Wingard (Godzilla vs. Kong), Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire arrives in theatres on March 29. Directed by Denis Villeneuve (Dune), Dune: Part Two is out now in theatres.
