‘Resident Evil Village Cloud’ Coming to the Switch This Year, Alongside ‘RE2’, ‘RE3’ and ‘Resident Evil 7′ [Trailer]

Four years after Japanese gamers got to enjoy Resident Evil VII on the Switch, Nintendo has finally given the rest of the world what we wanted and more. Not only is a cloud version of RE7 coming to the Switch later this year, but also cloud versions of the acclaimed Resident Evil 2Resident Evil 3 remakes, along with Resident Evil Village!

Announced during the latest Nintendo Direct, Capcom will be bringing Resident Evil Village Cloud to the Nintendo Switch on October 28, the same day that PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC owners will be getting the Winters’ Expansion. Switch users will be able to join in on the fun with the Winters’ Expansion on December 2.

No specific date for when Resident Evil 2Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil VII will arrive was announced.

If you’re itching to see what the current generation of Resident Evil games looks like on the Switch, you’re in luck. A demo for Resident Evil Village Cloud is available to stream beginning today via the Nintendo eShop. The demo allows players to test out their internet connections with the experience for a limited time. After trying the demo, players can pre-order or purchase the full game through the same app.
