We’ve been waiting a long time for it, but finally the Resident Evil crossover with Dead by Daylight in Project W has finally been revealed in Chapter 25. The new crossover will introduce Rebecca Chambers and Ada Wong as new Survivors, while as expected, Albert Wesker is your new Killer.
Details on the new Chapter are still to come, but per various leaks (such as the DBDLeaks Twitter), Project W will include a reworked Raccoon City Police Department map, which will now be split into two maps: the East and West Wing. Like Nemesis before him, Wesker will have the ability to infect other players, but will have a different functionality to Nemesis’ abilities.
Behaviour Interactive also revealed a dating sim inspired by Dead by Daylight. Yes, you read that correctly.
Available today on Steam, Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim features four Killers from the game on Murderer’s Island. You wake up on said island, and your job, aside from trying to find out who you are and why you’re on this island, is to find out what makes each of these Killers tick as you woo your way into their hearts. Of course, as you’d expect, you’ll have to be careful while romancing. You wouldn’t want to upset these Killers.
Project W will be coming to Dead by Daylight on PC and consoles.
