Hunt: Showdown fans will be able to enjoy the goodies contained in the upcoming 1.6.2 update very soon. The update features the usual fixes, but also includes new weapons and a handy new item for use while on the hunt.
For starters, players will be able to snag the new Scottfield Model 3 Revolver, which is based on the real-life Smith & Wesson Model 3 revolver. This small slot, medium ammo pistol features a quicker reload than any other revolver in the game, but with the tradeoff of lower damage and range than the game’s Caldwell Pax.
The update also introduces two variants to the Vetterli 71 Karabiner in the Vetterli Silencer and the Vetterli Marksman. The former is obviously a silenced option to make things easier when you’re being stealthy, while the Marksman is for your snipers.
Also introduced in the update is the Regeneration Shot, a new consumable that will heal players over time automatically. While it does halve your regen speed (2.5 hp/s instead of the normal 5 hp/s), health regeneration will kick in automatically after taking damage, and will continue to heal the player until current max health is reached.
Currently, the update is playable on the test servers, with no announced release date.
