10 Chambers’ GTFO has received its biggest update ever with the ALT://Rundown 5.0 —Rebirth update, adding a whopping 13 new expeditions to GTFO, bringing the total up to 58. Along with the new expeditions are three new weapons for you to play with, alongside a few tweaks to existing ones.
As with the previous rundowns for GTFO, in the Rebirth update, you and your team of prisoners once again descend into the deep underground, with intense firefights to follow. There’s a sighting of a terrifying monster lurking in the dark, though no doubt it’s not the last.
“So far this year, we’ve delivered three big free updates for GTFO, adding new content and unfolding the story of the underground world of GTFO,” explains Robin Björkell, Communications Director at 10 Chambers. “With this Rundown update, the prisoners will be sent even deeper down the Complex and have the chance to find records about who they are and their character’s history.”
If you’ve never played GTFO before (and why not?), the game is a cooperative multiplayer shooter where good teamwork means the difference between life and death. Cast in a four-player team of prisoners held against their will by a mysterious entity called “The Warden,” survival depends on a team’s ability to communicate, coordinate, and manage their ammunition. GTFO uses a concept called Rundowns, which are regular game updates that add new expeditions (maps, scenarios, enemies, etc.). These updates are free for everyone that owns GTFO.
