This morning, Netflix dropped the first teaser for their “Resident Evil” live-action series, giving a glimpse at the post-apocalyptic chaos ahead. Hidden within that teaser were clues that led to a second teaser, one showcasing the monsters.
The savvy Easter egg hunter might’ve spotted a QR code hidden on a vile of blood glimpsed briefly in the “Resident Evil” teaser or noticed a URL overlay on one of the scenes.
Both directed to UmbrellaisJoy.com. At the very bottom of the interactive page about the evil Umbrella Corp is a warning of unwanted side effects; clicking on it unveils a teaser that gives a firmer grasp of Umbrella’s nefarious plans. More importantly to franchise fans, it teases the T-Virus, lickers, giant spiders, and more, putting the spotlight on the monster mayhem.
