Last October, NECA gave us a first look at a new toy line that mashes together the Universal Monsters and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the first time since the 1990s, and thus far they’ve revealed Raphael as Frankenstein, Leonardo as Ygor, and Michelangelo as The Mummy. Today they’ve unveiled April O’Neil as the Bride of Frankenstein!
Check out the upcoming figure reveal in a fun retro commercial for this next TMNT x Universal Monsters mashup toy below, which updates a similar mashup toy from the ’90s!
The new April O’Neil figure will come with accessories including bag and microphone, with April rocking the Bride of Frankenstein’s iconic hairdo and outfit. Expect more soon.
The original Universal Monsters x TMNT line from Playmates featured Leonardo as The Wolfman, Raphael as The Mummy, Michaelangelo as Frankenstein’s Monster, and Donatello as Dracula, as well as April as the Bride of Frankenstein, Leonardo as the Creature from the Black Lagoon, Michaelangelo as The Invisible Man, and Raphael as the Metaluna Mutant.
