To celebrate the release of the new “Sector 1: Dreadshore” DLC for Meet Your Maker, developer Behaviour Interactive is offering potential players a free trial of the critically acclaimed game on Steam and PlayStation. The game’s trial will be available starting today, and last until July 3 11:59 pm EDT.
Included in the free trial is the full base game, along with the “Sector 1: Dreadshore” DLC. Players will have access to all of the game’s features and tools, with all of their Outposts and progress made during the free trial being carried over for players who later purchase the game, provided they do so on the same account they used to play the free trial.
For those who decide to snag Meet Your Maker after checking out the free trial, Behaviour Interactive is also giving players up to 35% off the Meet Your Maker base game and DLC across all platforms. PlayStation players have until July 5 11:59 pm EDT to take advantage of the discounts, while Steam players have until July 13 11:59 pm EDT. Xbox fans need not worry about left out, as Meet Your Maker’s free trial on Xbox will be taking place at a later date, and the pricing discounts will still be available until July 13 11:59 pm EDT.
Meet Your Maker puts players as Custodians of the Chimera, a living experiment created as a last resort to save life on Earth. You battle each other for the planet’s most coveted resource and necessary component to the Chimera’s evolution: pure Genetic Material. This all involves constructing and fortifying your Outposts to extract and guard your Genmat. At the same time, you’ll have to infiltrate and outsmart other players’ Outpost creations to steal their Genmat.
Meet Your Maker is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
