“A Black Lady Sketch Show” duo Bridget Stokes and Robin Thede are reteaming for zombie-comedy Killing It over at Amazon Studios, Deadline has reported this afternoon.
Thede wrote the script, with Stokes on board to direct the feature.
“The upcoming film sees four best friends attempt to redeem their college reputations by traveling to the SpelHouse homecoming. Their quest for vindication becomes a fight for survival when a zombie apocalypse begins to terrorize the country.”
Deadline also lets us know that Robin Thede is producing for her company For Better or Words, along with Jax Media’s John Hodges, Brooke Posch, and Tony Hernandez.
Robin Thede created the Emmy-winning series “A Black Lady Sketch Show” for HBO, and Bridget Stokes just won an Emmy Award for her work directing the series.
