Jordan Peele’s Mysterious New Horror Movie ‘Nope’ Has Finished Filming

A new terror from the mind of the Academy Award winner.

In the wake of Get Out and Us comes Nope, the third horror movie from writer/director Jordan Peele, and we’ve learned this week that filming on the project is now complete.

Variety notes this week, “The film, which recently wrapped principal photography, was shot on KODAK film, including 65mm film in IMAX format.”

Hoyte van Hoytema (Dunkirk, Tenet) served as the film’s director of photography.

Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) will be reteaming with Peele on the mysterious movie, with the cast also including Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead,” Mayhem) and Keke Palmer (“Scream”).

Michael Wincott (The Crow), Barbie Ferreira and Brandon Perea also star.

Universal currently has Peele’s new film set for July 22, 2022.

Peele wrote the film and will direct. He’s also producing for Monkeypaw Productions.
