‘Halloween Kills’ – Nick Castle Played Michael Myers in One Shot But It Ended Up Being a Deleted Scene

Director David Gordon Green has already promised that we’ll be getting an extended version of Halloween Kills with a different ending when the movie comes to home video, but what else can we expect from that upcoming package? It looks like one deleted moment from the new movie puts original “Shape” actor Nick Castle back in the Michael Myers mask!

As you may recall, Castle appeared as Michael Myers in one shot of Halloween 2018, and the plan was to have a similar shot in Halloween Kills. Alas, that little bit was cut from the film.

Sean Clark explains on his podcast The Thing With Two Heads, “People keep asking what scene Nick Castle was in. He was in a scene that got cut, that’s supposedly gonna be on the DVD or Blu-ray. It was a POV shot from the drone going into the bathroom and you see his reflection in the mirror. That was the shot.”

The actor underneath the mask throughout the majority of Halloween Kills is James Jude Courtney, who also played Michael Myers in Halloween 2018. He’ll be back in Halloween Ends.

Will Castle don the mask one more time next year? Stay tuned…
