GOG Makes Roguelite ‘Lovecraft’s Untold Stories’ Available for Free for the Next 48 Hours

You love giveaways, right? GOG sure does. After giving away The Brotherhood’s Stasis last week as part of The GOG Sale, GOG are now making LLC Blini Games’ roguelike Lovecraft’s Untold Stories available for free!

Same deal as before: sign up for a free account at GOG, go to the giveaway, add Lovecraft’s Untold Stories to your account, and enjoy. You’ll have to be quick, as you have 48 hours to do this.

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories is an action roguelite with RPG elements. Players explore randomly generated levels based in Lovecraft’s stories, fighting cultists and all kinds of monsters from the Mythos. All the while you’ll be improving your gear, solving puzzles, and finding clues and knowledge to defeat the Great Old Ones.

You’ll have a selection of five different characters to play as, each with their own playstyle. Every character will go through an investigation that will take them through different locations, from the creepy old Victorian mansion to the abandoned hospital where forbidden experiments take place or the jungle where lost tribes celebrate forgotten rituals. And as expected, in your investigations, you will face different situations where you have to choose what to do – make the wrong decision and you will start losing your mind.

Meanwhile, the sequel to Lovecraft’s Untold Stories, the predictably-named Untold Stories 2, is expected to be released on September 13th for PC via Steam after having its original May release date postponed.
