‘Godzilla Minus One’ Officially Rated PG-13 for “Creature Violence”

The first Japanese-produced Godzilla film since Shin Godzilla in 2016, Toho’s Godzilla Minus One is headed our way soon, and the official MPA rating has arrived this week.

Godzilla Minus One is rated “PG-13” for…

“Creature violence and action.”

Godzilla Minus One will first debut in theaters in Japan on November 3, 2023. Here in the United States, the film will bring Toho’s Godzilla back to theaters on December 1, 2023

Here’s the official plot synopsis the recent trailer provided us with…

“In postwar Japan, a new terror rises; Godzilla. Will the devastated people be able to survive… let alone fight back?”

As we learned last year, Takashi Yamazaki (Lupin III: The First) is directing the new movie, which will be the 30th live action film in Toho’s long-running kaiju franchise.

Just launched last month, Pluto TV is now streaming a 24/7 Godzilla Channel, which features a wealth of classic movies including films you won’t find on any other platform!
