‘Evil Dead: The Game’ Developers Saber Interactive Announce Game Based on ‘A Quiet Place’!

Paramount is dipping into its film properties again to give horror gamers some love. Saber Interactive, who created the excellent World War Z video game (and is working on the upcoming Evil Dead: The Game), has now been given the duty to create a video game based on John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place!

Saber Interactive will be teaming with developers iLLOGIKA and EP1T0ME to create a “single-player, story-driven horror adventure game” based on the film franchise, with the aim to launch it in 2022.

“This first official video game set in the terrifying A Quiet Place universe will deliver an original story and gameplay that captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous,” says Saber Interactive in a press release.

“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” said iLLOGIKA creative director Herve Sliwa in a press release. “We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.”

More information is expected later this year (The Game Awards 2021, anyone?). In the meantime, the game has a teaser website which you can check out here.

Thanks to Gematsu for the heads up.
