We could always use more cults in video games (insert Resident Evil 4 reference here). And together with publisher Destructive Creations, Fairyship Games and Revenant Games are looking to deliver with their upcoming first-person survival horror game, Shame Legacy. The game is expected to arrive on May 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Set in the 19th century village, Shame Legacy sees you waking up in the middle of a hunt, with you as the prey. It would seem that your family’s legacy has caught up with you, and now you’ve got to use your wits to not only survive, but get to the bottom of the situation. Meanwhile, an eerie danger lurks in the background.
Unfortunately, you’re not stocked up in the way of weapons. Your only tool is your cane, which can still fend off attacking villagers if you’re discovered. And as you’d expect, you’ll have to use your head when it comes to stealth mechanics to avoid detection, as well as solving puzzles. If you are discovered, it’s not the end. If you make it to the village doctor, you’ll be able to trouble him for some pick-me-ups.
