It’s that time of year again, and of course Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight is getting in on the fun once more. In addition to the “Haunted by Daylight” event starting in a few weeks, Dead by Daylight will unveil a new Tome featuring Ghost Face, new skins for Albert Wesker and The Oni and more, along with another free weekend for those who still haven’t made the leap into The Fog.
Kicking off today and lasting until November 3rd, the festivities begin for Dead by Daylight with the release of new store Collections. Alongside the new Hallowed Blight Collection are the limited-time Tricks and Treats Collection, which are available from October 11th to November 3rd. The Midnight Grove Collection will also make a comeback during this time, as well with two new Very Rare Outfits for Mikaela Reid and The Doctor. The Hallowed Blight Collection has two Very Rare Outfits, with The Oni getting a Bursting with Fury Outfit, while Wesker gets his own Blighted Wesker Outfit.
Meanwhile, the Tricks and Treats Collection will feature two new Very Rare Outfits for Jane Romero and Dwight Fairfield in Hollywood Glamour and the Toilet Paper Mummy.
The newest Archive Tome, Tome 13, will be released on October 12th, featuring memories for beloved Killer Ghost Face and Survivor Mikaela Reid. “Players will have the chance to plummet into the devious mind behind the mask and discover what keeps a horror aficionado up at night with Tome 13: MALEVOLENCE. They’ll be able to dive into Ghost Face’s memories, as a local cartoonist parodies him in the local papers. OBVIOUSLY, this won’t stand.”
And of course, there’s the free weekend of play later this month, which will take place from October 27 to November 1 for PC and consoles. That’s on top of the new Haunted by Daylight in-game event, which kicks off on October 13. The event allows players to take advantage of a slew of horrifying cosmetics to unlock, alongside new challenges. The Dead by Daylight lobby & loading screens will be decked with fearsome pumpkins and frightful decorations, while players will experience a new gameplay mechanic that requires them to gather and steal “Void Energy”. Lastly, daily login rewards will be available, encouraging players to connect to the game every day.
The Haunted by Daylight for Dead by Daylight event takes place across PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
