Capcom Reveals ‘Resident Evil 4’ Remake “Chainsaw Demo” During Showcase

Can’t wait for the Resident Evil 4 remake, and that ARG website isn’t doing it for you? Capcom has you covered, as they’ve announced the “Chainsaw Demo” for Resident Evil 4 during their 2023 Showcase. This is despite Twitch letting the cat out of the bag early last night, but we kind of all knew this was coming.

Introduced by RE4’s producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, unlike the previous Resident Evil demos, the Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo features no time limit. Meaning, players can play it for as long as they want, as many times as they want.

The Chainsaw Demo takes place at the beginning of the game, when Leon first enters the rural village. is available for both PlayStation consoles, the Xbox Series, and Steam.

Capcom also mentioned the various pre-order goodies you can get in on for Resident Evil 4 (both the Standard and Deluxe Edition) that allow for you to customize your Attaché case in the game.

The Resident Evil 4 remake launches on March 24 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox Series.
