Calling All Jasons: Tombstone Pizza Celebrates Halloween with a Ghastly Giveaway

Last year, Tombstone Pizza got into the Halloween spirit with A Nightmare on Elm Street themed giveaway for those that lived on an Elm Street. This year, the Official Pizza of Halloween embraces October’s Friday the 13th with a ghastly giveaway open to those that share a first name with Jason Voorhees.

That’s right, anyone named Jason can enter to win free pizza. And few things pair as well with horror than pizza.

One lucky grand prize winner will receive a spooky weekend trip plus free TOMBSTONE® Pizza.

From the press release, “Participate at your own risk by entering online at tombstone.com/pizzaforjason. Through Oct. 31, those named Jason can enter for a chance to win. Despite its frightful associations, Jason has been consistently popular for decades with more than 900,000 individuals1 going by the name.”

If you’re not named Jason, fret not; the official rules also state that entrants must have a legal name of “Jason,” “Pamela,” or “Crystal” to enter. So it’s not just Jason Voorhees that Tombstone pays tribute to, but Voorhees’ mommy dearest and the Camp Crystal Lake setting.

“Watching scary movies and eating pizza continues to be one of the best Halloween traditions,” said Neil Morrissey, Marketing Brand Manager at Nestlé. “This year, we’re having some fun with the fright factor, and encouraging everyone to spend Halloween watching classic horror movies.”

How do you enter to win? Starting on Sunday, October 1 through Tuesday, October 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET, fans can enter online at https://tombstone.com/pizzaforjason for a chance to win.
