After revealing the punkish Brujah last week, Paradox and The Chinese Room have announced that Blood Sorcery experts the Tremere are the next playable clan in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. As before, the announcement comes with a short teaser demonstrating some of the Tremere’s abilities. This is all in anticipation of an extended gameplay reveal for Bloodlines 2 that will be unveiled in January 2024.
In Bloodlines 2, the Tremere use their power to control their own blood and of their foes. Those who choose to align with the Tremere clan benefit from long-distance attacks, attacking with their own lifeblood, and even rip the blood out of the veins of their enemy. As with the other clans, the complete list of Disciplines for the Tremere will be available in early 2024. The next vampiric clan in Bloodlines 2 will be revealed on November 30 at the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted.
According to Paradox’s blog post, following the launch of Bloodlines 2, two additional clans will be made available in DLC, with one “giving you a new way to experience the main game” and another that offers “a completely unique Seattle story.”
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series for a Fall 2024 release.
