Beware Implanon. Insurance covered putting it in but I had to remove it myself… and clearly didn’t do the neatest job. :\ I have a lot of scars, most of them pretty deep, but this is the only one I hate because it reminds me not of how strong I am, or what I’ve overcome, but of how much poor healthcare combined with hormonal impatience and a false belief that I can do anything can really suck. lol
