With Dead by Daylight venturing into space with the recent END TRANSMISSION chapter (and last week’s Tome 16: EXISTENCE), you kind of knew something big was coming. We just didn’t expect the Alien franchise to be doing a Dead by Daylight crossover.
While Behaviour Interactive has only graced us with a teaser that alludes to the upcoming Dead by Daylight: Alien, that’s more than enough to get us excited. Calling back to the iconic opening of Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic, we see glimpses of what appears to be the interior of The Nostromo, which has seen better days.
The trailer culminates in a Xenomorph appearing from the darkness, and you can guess what happens after that. Behaviour Interactive was kind enough to let us know at the end of the teaser that more will be revealed about the crossover on August 8.
So aside from the obvious of a Xenomorph being a Killer, does this mean we’ll be getting Ripley as a Survivor? Hicks? Newt? We’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, you can always jump into the game with Nicolas Cage, who officially joined Dead by Daylight last week, bringing with him his own unique talents (and skins).
Dead by Daylight is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Windows Store.
