Anime and Survival Horror Collide in ‘Narin: The Orange Room’ [Trailer]

Anime Horror gamers need some love, don’t they? Publisher Urnique Studio and developer RedSensation Games certainly think so. Luckily, the teams have announced their new Survival Horror game Narin: The Orange Room, which is expected for release on Steam in 2023.

The game follows the eponymous Narin, a seventh grade elementary school girl whose sister unexpectedly disappears. One thing leads to another, and Narin herself ends up in a mysterious world during Twilight Time, where she now has to fight to survive. While doing so, she needs to investigate and uncover the mysteries of similar stories that have occurred at her school. All the while, Narin must find her sister.

Narin: The Orange Room uses a multi-dimension mechanic, where Narin is drawn into the Twilight Time dimension at night. There, the world is invaded by ghosts, which will stay in their location throughout the school. Narin needs to carefully avoid detection by the ghosts while exploring. If spotted, she will have to hide until the ghosts lose her. During the day, Narin will have to explore her school and inspect clues from her friends and obtain evidence in order to uncover the mysteries of her school.
