As promised yesterday, the teaser trailer for A24‘s Men has arrived this morning. Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley stars in the new film from Ex Machina and Annihilation director Alex Garland, and all we really know is that “the film follows a young woman who goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside after the death of her ex-husband.”
Men will be released in theaters on May 20, we’ve learned today, and though the plot details are still incredibly vague, you can check out your first look at Garland’s latest below.
Of course, even the teaser is incredibly mysterious, beginning with Buckley’s character coming across a deep, dark tunnel. From there things get a bit mind-bending, with Buckley having visions of some sort of strange figure. It seems she’s being stalked by this figure, with the teaser offering just the right amount of enticement without giving literally anything away.
