A24 has announced an upcoming psychological thriller titled A Different Man this afternoon, and Sebastian Stan (Hulu’s Fresh) has come on board to lead the movie’s cast.
From writer and director Aaron Schimberg (Chained for Life), A24’s A Different Man is set to kick off production next month, with Sebastian Stan starring alongside Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World, The Governesses) and Adam Pearson.
In the film…
“Edward is an outcast seeking a new life and fresh start. After he undergoes facial reconstructive surgery, he becomes fixated on a man starring as him in a stage production based on his former life.”
A24 is financing and producing the film. Alongside A24, Christine Vachon and Gabriel Mayers of Killer Films, Vanessa McDonnell of Grand Motel Films and Jason Reif will produce.
Sebastian Stan will executive produce.
