‘Vampire Survivors’ Receiving New “Legacy of the Moonspell” DLC Soon

If you’ve managed to make your way through all of the content in Poncle’s Vampire Survivors, get ready for more. A new DLC entitled “Legacy of the Moonspell” is on the way, per the new Steam page.

According to the Steam page, “Legacy of the Moonspell” includes a brand-new stage in Mt.Moonspell, eight new characters, and 13 new weapons for you to grind out. And as veteran players might expect, there are also some hidden secrets for those who are curious (addicted?) enough for the repeat plays to unlock it all.

The story for the DLC involves the Moonspell Clan, a once vigilant group of guardians of a valley nestled in the mountains, but have now been overrun by hordes of yokai and oni. Though treacherous, this hive of spectral activity may provide some clue as to the location of a vampire. If not, at least it’ll be entertaining to defeat thousands of wayward spirits in the process.

No release date or price has been officially revealed, but according to noted Twitter insider Wario64, the DLC is purported to launch on December 15th at a $1.99 price point. That’s quite the steal, considering that the base game goes for less than eight dollars on Steam at the moment.

In addition to Steam, Vampire Survivors is also available on the Xbox One and the Xbox Series. And if you still haven’t hopped on the bandwagon, Neil and Jay recently took a look at Vampire Survivors on The Safe Room Podcast.
