Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games’ Fort Solis was already scheduled to be getting a physical release on PlayStation 5. But for those in Europe (and those outside of Europe who want to spend a little more), there will be an additional physical limited edition version of the upcoming psychological sci-fi thriller.
Set for release on October 6th, this limited physical edition version of Fort Solis comes courtesy of Meridiem Games. Available for pre-order now from specialist stores throughout Europe, this limited edition physical version will contain a special 3D cover and an exclusive metallic effect postcard. It’s not quite the version that will be available from Merge Games (which contains the game’s soundtrack and artbook), but having that 3D cover art is a nice plus.
Fort Solis has you assume the role of engineer Jack Leary, as he spends the longest night of his life on an isolated mining base on Mars. Explore Fort Solis station at your own pace, gathering clues from its bunkers, labs, crew quarters, and harsh, stormy surface to understand what enigmatic fate befell its inhabitants. As the night grows longer events escalate, spiral out of control, and the mystery as to what’s really going on deepens.
In addition to the PlayStation 5, Fort Solis will arrive on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 22.
