The idea of commanding a vampire army in Stunlock Studios’ V Rising is cool and all, but where’s the gameplay to show it? The devs answered that question with a brand-new gameplay trailer that shows the humble beginnings of your conquest, that quickly turns into you taking on monsters while wielding powerful magic.
We’ve touched on the story before, where you starting out as a vampire needing to hunt for blood in nearby settlements to regain your strength. From there, you’ll be able to build and customize your castle and recruit other vampires. According to the devs, V Rising will have co-op and PvP as part of its multiplayer, with “at least 50 castles per server”.
V Rising is still heading towards a beta later this year, with sign ups still going. You can also wishlist the game on Steam.
