‘Sker Ritual’ Leaves Early Access and Launches in Full on April 18

After launching this past October into Early Access, Sker Ritual will be exiting the service and launching in full for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on April 18. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Sker Ritual will follow at a later date.

The team has been hard at work implementing various fixes and features since the Early Access launch, with the most recent changes happening with the 0.5.8 patch for Sker Ritual last Friday.

Sker Ritual is set after the events of 2020’s Maid of Sker, taking place in the 1900s. Taking on more of a survival wave shooter this time around, players will be exploring a new area of Sker Island known as “The Cursed Lands of Lavernock”. Battling alongside up to three of your friends, you’ll be taking on old foes and the aforementioned Elite, each with a unique set of abilities that will force you to think on your strategies in order to survive.

Lucky for you, you’ve got some help in the form of Miracles. Killing enemies has the chance to drop these Miracles, which offer a choice of three random upgradable powers that buff or alter your shooting, melee, grenade and healing. Each Miracle is bound to a Celtic God and come in many forms including rarity, core attributes and power.

Demos for Sker Ritual are also available on Steam and the PlayStation 5.
