Funko Games is headed off to Woodsboro with the upcoming tabletop experience Scream: The Game, officially announced and detailed by Screen Rant this week.
Screen Rant details, “A new press release has revealed that Funko Games, the same company behind the well-known figurines, will soon release a multiplayer tabletop game set in the Scream universe called Scream: The Game. In the title, Ghost Face has returned to Woodsboro and is hunting the players, who will have to work together to survive. Scream the Game comes with a Ghost Face figurine as well as a free app that ties into gameplay, which features acting from Roger Jackson, who voices the famous killer in the movies.”
The website also previews, “Gameplay for the tabletop title will be fast-paced, with each round estimated to take only 20 minutes.”
Scream: The Game is expected to slash its way onto shelves in mid-2023.
