‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ – New Image Previews the Franchise Debut of the “Brutal” Atrociraptors

Jurassic World: Dominion will open wide in theaters on June 10, 2022, which means we’re just about six months away from the franchise’s anticipated return to the big screen.

Plot details are still under wraps, but Fallen Kingdom promised a sequel wherein the dinosaurs are now on the mainland… and humans are falling to the bottom of the food chain.

Another new image has arrived from Empire Magazine today, this one giving us our first look at one of the many new dinosaur species we’ll be meeting next summer: the Atrociraptors!

“Where the Velociraptor is a little bit more of a stealth hunter, the Atrociraptors are a bit more brutish,” director Colin Trevorrow tells Empire, explaining the image you’ll find below. “These things will just come at you. And in this particular case, they’ve picked his scent, and they’re not going to stop until he’s dead. They’re pretty brutal. They’re pretty vicious.”

Another species we’ll be coming face-to-face with in Dominion? The Pyroraptors!

Dominion‘s cast includes familiar and new faces such as Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Dichen Lachman, Mamoudou AthieDeWanda Wise and Scott Haze.
