Between Netflix’s Pinocchio and “The Cabinet of Curiosities,” Guillermo del Toro has had a pretty massive year here in 2022, but what’s next for the visionary, Oscar-winning filmmaker?
Speaking with Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast earlier this month, del Toro noted that he’s not yet sure if “Cabinet of Curiosities” will be getting a second season, but he did tease another project entirely. Up next from del Toro? Well, it could end up being another monster movie.
Del Toro tells the podcast, “Well, I’m working on a monster movie; I cannot say the title because it may change, and I could end up making something else.”
“But right now, I’m writing and designing. And we have for the last couple of years,” del Toro continues. “Hopefully, it’ll be next, but anything can happen.”
