With the recent release of Robert Lieberman’s Fire in the Sky to Blu-Ray, it seems appropriate that Refugium Games’ Greyhill Incident recently had a new trailer released. The alien invasion game is expected to be released on Steam in Spring 2023.
While you won’t be roaming an alien ship, Greyhill Incident instead has you avoiding being caught by the infamous “Greys”. The story takes place in 1992, in a small neighborhood of Greyhill. It seems an alien invasion is underway, and so you and your neighbours have to work together to fend off the aliens from abducting everyone. That involves boarding up houses, establishing a neighbourhood watch for aliens, and use stealth tactics to navigate the village and avoid detection.
If you are confronted by one of the Greys, you’re not completely helpless. You can put your baseball bat and gun to good use, but you’ll have to scrounge up ammo for your pistol, and resorting to head-on confrontation isn’t always the best plan.
You’re not alone in this one, however. You’ll have help from your neighbours via walkie talkies such as Brandon “the Veteran” or Ryan’s brother Bob “the Lunatic” (complete with tinfoil hat). They will guide you through the village, but can also be hit up for additional information.
If you’re a sucker for late-night alien appearances on your doorstep, this is definitely one to add to your wishlist.
