Four years after its initial announcement, Fallen Leaf and developer Unseen Silence have revealed a brand new trailer for their still-in-development turn-based strategy game Terror: Endless Night. The new trailer grants players a glimpse of the bitter arctic elements and the merciless decisions that await you in this fight for survival that’s inspired by true events.
Set aboard a rescue ship bound for the Arctic Sea, the game follows the search for HMS Erebus and HMS Terror — two Royal Navy vessels that disappeared while attempting to discover the Northwest Passage to East Asia. Originally chosen to lead the expedition yourself, you instead allowed your son to take your place and forge his own legacy. Now he is missing, and you find yourself trapped in the frozen Arctic Ocean, burdened by overwhelming guilt.
Your duty is to your crew and ship. Every crew member is a living person with their own skills, needs, and breaking points. You must assign shifts, manage limited supplies, and pass laws, all in the name of survival.
As a result of being stranded in the ice with low resources, you will face brutal moral dilemmas. Will you show compassion, or let the crushing cold reduce human life to a ruthless calculation? Will you cling to dignity in death, or resort to cannibalism to survive another day?
Terror: Endless Night is planned for release on PC via Steam and GOG in Q4 2026, with console versions coming later.
