Things are going to get a little sus (yeah, I hate that word, too) with Poncle’s Vampire Survivors and the brand-new “Emergency Meeting” DLC. The developer has announced this next DLC for their hit roguelike features a guest appearance from Innersloth’s Among Us.
Arriving on the Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on December 18th (with a Switch release coming at a later date), the Emergency Meeting DLC takes elements from Among Us, and re-interprets them “in a Vampire Survivors spin”. That results in 9 new characters, 15 new weapons (7 of which are evolutions), and a new map.
In keeping with the theme of Among Us, Poncle has taken the “tasks” you’re required to do in that game, and made them into weapons for Emergency Meeting. You’ll be able to blow enemies away with the sound waves from your Report! weapon, or slice up aliens with Lucky Swipe, for example. You’ll also have access to Mini Crewmates to empower your Task-based weaponry.
As for the new map, Polus Replica is as it sounds: a replica of the scientific base on Polus. The planet is “packed with bizarre biomes ripe for exploration by Survivors and Crewmates”. It’s also being invaded by aliens, robots, and other nefarious foes.
Rounding things up are six new music tracks, which again, are inspired by Among Us.
