The last 6 pictures were taken on the eve and morning of my 22nd birthday. It was an honor and privilege to be in the mists of raw untamed underground (literally) hiphop. Being in that basement gave me a firm reminder that “hiphop ain’t dead.” Thank you to all the artists that shared their thoughts, hearts, memories, infatuations and talent with everyone in that room.
