Insomniac stole the PlayStation Showcase with not one but two games announced. Wolverine finally gets another solo game after 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Marvel’s Spider-Man gets the sequel we’ve all been asking for, with Venom joining the fun!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which will have Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up, will launch in 2023 for the PlayStation 5. Best of all, much of the team behind the first game will be coming back to work on the sequel. And yes, the trailer does give us a glimpse of the Lethal Protector himself, Venom, being a part of it. Best of all, Candyman himself, Tony Todd, will be providing the voice of Venom!
As for Wolverine, Marvel’s Wolverine does not have a release date yet, but it too will be coming to the PlayStation 5. Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone game being directed by the team behind Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
