Set in 1870s, the folk-horror vampire film will be released in select theaters and on Digital April 24 via Samuel Goldwyn Films.

Cassandra Scerbo (Sharknado) stars as Jo Beckett, a devoted schoolteacher whose life is upended when her young son (Jaydon Clark) mysteriously vanishes.

Jo’s desperate search leads her through a maze of folklore, paranoia, and faith. Facing hostility from neighbors, local authority figures, and her own unraveling grip on reality, she must confront terrifying forces that challenge everything she believes.

Eric Nelsen (“1883”), Angus Macfadyen (Saw III-IV), Q’orianka Kilcher (“The Alienist”), Sammi Rotibi (Django Unchained), Adrianne Palicki (John Wick), Zach McGowan (“Black Sails”), James Landry Hébert (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), and Clint Howard (Terrifier 3) round out the cast.

Writer-director Michael Schilf makes his feature debut on the project, loosely based on the Aesop fable of the same name.

The Wolf and the Lamb is produced by Lunar Door and Winter State Entertainment.
