NightByte Games and Dead by Daylight publisher Behaviour Interactive wants players not to face their fears, but to fear their face as paranoid first-person horror roguelite It Has My Face exits Early Access as Version 1.0 releases.
While It Has My Face will maintain its Early Access on Steam for the price of $9.99 USD, Version 1.0 will launch with a 20% discount, giving players their greatest discount yet.
In the game, “Set in a grim dystopian world where identity is anything but certain, It Has My Face drops players into a deadly game of deception, armed with a mirror and a mission: find and kill your clone before it finds and kills you. Each run reshapes the experience, giving players a new face, a new body, and new mutators, making quick thinking, a sharp eye, and a knack for adapting all key to your survival.”
Version 1.0 takes Early Access player feedback and pushes the experience to its full conclusion with two final chapters to complete the game’s doppelganger-driven story, introducing all-new monsters, mutators, and environments. Players will also face a final confrontation that reveals the unsettling truth behind their existence – not to mention the fate of the world itself.
Multiplayer makes a massive return by popular demand.
Version 1.0 also introduces support for up to eight players across two new modes: Team Deathmatch and Free for All, which expand beyond the game’s original 1v1 format. Every player shares the same face, turning each encounter into an intense test of suspicion, instinct, and survival in this arena.
But wait, there’s more. Behavior Interactive is offering a thank you to the game’s Early Access champions, many of whom are Dead by Daylight players, in the form of two exclusive in-game banners available through the game’s inbox for one month, beginning today, April 3.
The game will also be featured in a bundle alongside Dead by Daylight, with each title offering a 10% discount.
