As announced last March, Red Shirt Pictures and Synapse Films are working together to restore the long out-of-print Fright Night Part II in 4K Ultra HD.
While a release date has not yet been set, Red Shirt’s Michael Felsher joined Deadpit Radio to reveal the three cover art options that will be available when pre-orders launch this year.
Pictured below, the artwork comes from Zachary Jackson Brown, Sean Longmore, and Graham Humphreys.
The 1988 sequel is directed by Tommy Lee Wallace (Halloween III: Season of the Witch, IT 1990) from a script he co-wrote with Tim Metcalfe (The Haunting in Connecticut) and Miguel Tejada-Flores (Screamers).
Set three years after the events of Fright Night, Charley Brewster separates from vampire hunter Peter Vincent. When mysterious actress Regine Dandrige arrives in town, Charley’s past resurfaces, suggesting a repeat occurrence involving vampires.
Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale return to star alongside Traci Lind, Julie Carmen, and Jon Gries.
Stay tuned for pre-order details.
