‘Hamnet’ Actress Bodhi Rae Breathnach Joins Robert Eggers’ ‘Werwulf’

Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Hamnet) has been cast in Werwulf from modern master of horror Robert Eggers (Nosferatu, The Witch), Deadline reports.

The 14-year-old Irish-English actress joins Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, and Ralph Ineson in the movie.

Slated to hit theaters on December 25 via Focus Features, Werwulf began filming in the UK last fall.

Set in 13th century England, the horror film sees a mysterious creature stalk the land as local folklore becomes a terrifying reality.

Eggers directs from a script he penned with his The Northman co-writer Sjón.

Focus is producing and financing. Eggers and Sjón produce alongside Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner for Working Title. Maiden Voyage’s Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus are executive producing.

Breathnach can next be seen co-starring with Jason Statham in the action thriller Shelter, in theaters January 30.
