If you missed out on it the first time, Slay The Princess fans wanting a copy of the official artbook can now have it in digital form. Available now on Steam, “The Art of Slay the Princess – The Pristine Cut” is a 290-page PDF filled with hand-drawn pencil art by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard (“The Crossroads at Midnight”, “The Last Halloween”). The book allows fans to check out the game’s fractalized storytelling in its entirety with dramatic illustrations tied together in a narrative akin to the classic “Choose Your Own Adventure” books of yesteryear.
For those who still prefer a physical copy of the artbook, not to worry. A second printing is underway over at Serenity Forge’s website, with an expected Q1 2026 delivery. Also still available are the Premium Physical Editions of Slay the Princess — The Pristine Cut for PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
And, to celebrate the game’s second anniversary, developer Black Tabby Games has a 35% discount for Slay the Princess — The Pristine Cut on Steam, and will also be hosting a Twitch livestream on Tuesday, October 21 at 10:45 AM PDT.
In addition to Steam, you can grab Slay the Princess — The Pristine Cut now on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and the Xbox Series. If you’re still wondering what all the fuss is about, check out Aaron’s review of the game.
